I posted soom photos on another thread, and the comment that the woman there said they were hand-built prototypes, costing $155,000.00 and they couldn't allow the wear and tear, of course these non-vin cars will be CRUSHED soon. Same feelings ordered a 2SS-RS and can't get closer than 10 feet.

Understand your frustration but no one ever said you'd be able to sit a Camaro at ANY shows except for NAIAS and Chicago....

Sorry bud.

From my prospective sounds like your crying with a loaf of bread under each arm. lol. You've got one on order and you've got to see one in person. That's two more than most.

You came as an enthusiast, like everyone else. They don't make special rules just because you ordered a car...sorry.:(

That guy was simply doing his job by not permitting you to sit in it. There are very few show cars in existence (I want to say three?) that have finished interiors. Those that don't either aren't show quality -- or have their textured surfaces sprayed on. It'd rub off in no time...and then you get people commenting about really poor quality.

Again -- that sucks you couldn't get in...but it's not the spokesperson's fault. The car just isn't "sit-in-able".

It was the same story at the D.C. show. Hey, Scotty, how 'bout that pace car. I thought it looked like it should have been in the race - Awesome!

Red w/ cgm stripes 2SS/RS (NAIAS/Chicago)
IOM w/ white stripes 2SS/RS (Canada)
SIM 1LT (Portland)

Just read through the thread, I posted that from my phone in the heat of the moment.

At no time did anyone tell me they were pre-production and not part of the test fleet that rolled off the line in Oshawa. Had some one known and told me that they were the demo cars that weren't designed to actually be used in that manor then I probably wouldn't have made that post.

My apologies everyone.

it's ok - my hometown (MILWACKY) gets 1 Camaro, and you will not get to sit in it. Just lucky I drove two hours (twice) to do it.
