PQ, I just wrapped up my whipple install, with a hodge podge of parts, injectors, stock manifolds and cats Kali rules, etc etc.

My Janetty tune was amazing from the turn of the key. It's got cold start, AC functionality and just runs awesome. Still need a datalog session to tighten everything up, but couldn't be happier for such a pile of bastard parts and email tune.

Come to the dark side, we have running cars! :-)

hmm... my truck does that when it's really cold out. sometimes even sounds like it's only firing 7 cylinders (or somebody swapped in an awesome cam overnight while i wasn't looking - which i wouldn't complain about). it usually dies after a few seconds and won't respond to opening the throttle. but then i start it again & it kicks the idle up to about 1500 & clears itself up, but it has to sit for a minute or else it'll try to stall when i let the clutch out. once it warms up, it's fine.

almost sounds like a cold-start tune thingy you're talking about... but you said it still does that when it's warm, right?

sorry i'm a bit behind on how your car's running nowadays - i gave up on trying to figure out what it was doing a long time ago

Dark side as in Janetty?

I just don't like SCT. I still can't make mine log.

Basically it's still doing the same thing as it was when you were over just after I installed the blower. Even though you and I and Chris took it to Doc, it's still doing that same thing. Doc optimized the tune but it still does the surging. That part never stopped.

What ever a 'Cold Start Tune' is I recall Doc mentioned not being able to do it and Vengeance couldn't do it due to a Vette they were working on.

We never found it. Even after all that trouble shooting and testing.

Last thing I did was new header gaskets. The ones Vengeance put on started leaking too. But that wasn't the problem.

I don't blame you, I've had a ton of issues with my itsx from sct. But, it's working now, and works decent. Haven't logged yet, hope to tomorrow.

I have an SCT X3 handheld with a JRE tune and have had good luck with it! No problems at all! There is a seperate program for datalogging, LiveLink, which works great! Is that what you where using for datalogging with the SCT?
