PICS: My "one-off" 3D vinyl transformation on my 1LE
FOLLOW THE STORY WITH THE PICS AS YOU SCROLL:
So.....due to something out of my control....I had to remove my OEM vinyl wrap. I love the look of the OEM matte black vinyl on white: But it needed more, so......I added THESE within weeks of delivery(from Roger @ emblempros.com): That brings us to the issue that required the vinyl removal.....SO removal of said badges and OEM vinyl: ...to get a fresh canvas: After a couple days of thought I came up with an idea and ran with it....here is the process and final result: Used my template: Sketched in a location and size to keep proportions of the "1LE": Taped in place for installer and laid down the "1LE": This is the FIRST part of the final product: (keep scrolling though...theres MORE) That wasn't enough....THIS was my final vision: Satin vinyl OVER the "1LE" lettering to leave just a subtle hint on the hood: Then completed trimming for a final look: More pics added per PM requests: Another look at the Satin vinly over the lettering: Close up of lettering height: Difference between matte and satin vinyls: (removed OEM balled up LOL) - you can see the satin has a mild gloss to it:

My opinion went from "kill it with fire" to "I need that" in one set of pictures. Very nice.

Now that's outside the box and I like it. Maybe we will meet at another event and I can see it in person.
