Cheapest mod you like

What's the cheapest mod you guys have done that you really like? Mine would be my vinyl key hole cover. It was less then $10, added color to match my interior highlights and looks so nice compared to the scratched up thing it was. Second would be LED floor lighting that cost me around $15. I got LEDs from a place called hobbyking that have 3m tape on the back and can be cut to length. They hide away and conform to under the dash perfectly. I did the wiring based on a link here.

Painted front & back bowties black to match the car; $75 at the dealer's (which included a detail.) There are other black 5th gens in town - but none with the painted Chevy logo.

Cheapest possible best mod is if you have drls from factory.

$1 for a pair of diodes, $4 for some copper wire. $1 for some electrical tape.

All you do is attach the power wire of the side markers to the power wire of the drls with a diode in between on each side. Then your drls will come on with your parking and head lights.

Its under $10 and probably the best cheap mod possible.

Can you post a link to the LEDs?

Definetly my blacked out bowties. I got the vinyl for free from forum member 1BAADSS. I used an exaco knife, hair dryer, and some patients and they came out perfect.

Painted tail light bezels, debadging, dyed interior stitching black, using a blendmount and a invisicord to mount my radar detector to my rear view mirror, and wiring it using the rear view mirror power.

My 67' Camaro V-Flag Emblems, about $35 for the pair of them. A picture of one of them is my Avatar.
