After 45 years of hearing different exhaust sounds none ever gave me goosebumps. This video did twice. I will possess this great beast. All in due time.

I just had to see that one more time, I love that car. Can't wait to drive it for myself.

The fiance says "it sounds like a diesel truck"...this from a woman who just learned what a diesel truck was!

In all fairness, it's interesting insight from a completely outside person that knows nothing of cars, I'm not sure that exhaust note (high end) is going to appeal.

First off, it sounds like a 4 or a 6 cylinder, and no I am not just saying that to get people mad, It truly does.

Second, some videos make it look slower than Christmas and others make it look like its leaping off of the ground, it seems as if, by pavement and time of day, this was several different versions of a " Black Camaro"

Last, getting your can whipped like that by a Prissy Convertible Porsche, which was NOT a 4S, if you slow the video down to look, it was a 2S, is SAD SAD SAD. My old 1992 RS 25th Anniversary would take a Porssche to the edge and if I would have had more motor, it woulda have inked them a new badge.

This car has more tire noise than a Hyundai Accent and more body roll than a 89 Mustang GT.

Lord, I hope the production version is better than this!

P.S., I used to help build Panoz Esperante's and know a few things about tuning, handling, and track testing... This video is simply embaressing, as a former Camaro-lover... Long live my '07 Mustang GT (My first Ford, thanks to GM).

THE CAR SOUNDS AWESOME... and the camaro didn't get whipped... look again.. it slowed down and put on it's blinkers. Who knows why , but the camaro didn't get whipped. sniff, sniff... it's so beautiful...

Outstanding video. I didn't see any rolling, looks like a nice stiff yet conformtable suspension. The car did great on curves! Sounds awesome & menacing!

This looks like a test around the course, there was no racing involved. Lets be grateful for this video, I was highly impressed with the suspension performance and handling.

Maybe they pulled over to the side for the porsche so we wouldn't be able to compare how fast it is to it? Or is it just common courtesy to move out of the way on the ring

I assume you were joking, but you're actually right on the money!

There are track rules about it. I can't seem to find their site...but I know I read it. If you have no intention of keeping pace with those coming up behind you, you have to signal, and pull off to the side, and let them pass.

They were testing, not racing.

it was probably a cool-down lap.

and yes, on any race course its common courtesy to yield when you are slower, or maintain one line without "getting out of the way" -- while giving the other driver a signal. most usually called a wave-by.

Sounds great, but exhaust is the first thing I'm changing when I get it.. alone with a cold air intake.
