9 PSI w/ 2" Headers???
What would be the BEST / Reliable (not necessarily most cost effective) way to achieve a solid 9 psi with 2" headers using a Maggie 2300? (i.e. Rear OD/Front UD Combo?)

Rear OD is the way to go. If you want to go past roughly 15 you'll need to go to a front overdrive kit as well.

15! No I'm trying to find out the best way to only gain like 2 more PSI after installing 2" headers. I want to be at 9 PSI, maybe 10 during a spike but no higher. I really like the cogs but again I don't want to go to higher than 9-10 PSI. So was curious if the 2" header w/ OD Cog will put me at 9 or would I also need to add front UD Pulley. If so what PSI would that combo (2" headers/rear od & front ud) put me at? Thanks for the help guys.

Stock 3.8" front pulley OD rear cog XS Power 2" headers ADM CAI Made just over 10psi on the dyno and 550rwhp/565rwtq on a conservative tune

9 PSI w/ 2" Headers???

There we go! Great info. Thanks a lot. What was the temperature like when you dyno'd that setup and were just over 10 PSI? I wonder if putting the front UD Pulley would put it at 9 or would make it too low? I have just always heard anything over 10 PSI and you are pushing the limits on stock internals. That is why I would like to stay at 9 with the very max being 10 during those cold days when it likes to spike up a bit in PSI.

A lot depends on what your fuel system consist of injectors, fuel pump, and Octane 91/93? There is a lot of people over 10lbs of boost ls3/L99. I don't think it's the boost number that kills a motor, but cylinder pressure (hp). And if you have supporting fuel mods, and a good tuner 10lbs should be fine.

If you don't have belt slip, you'll be well over 10psi with a 3.8 front pulley with overdriven rears. That's assuming stock cam and VERY open exhaust. If you have less with a similar setup, you probably have restrictions before the throttle body.

9 PSI w/ 2" Headers???
Thanks so much everyone! Loving the input. Roger that on a good tune. I will be going to one of the most well known and best in the industry. I am just trying to do a bit of homework. I always lean towards the conservative side, especially considering for 70% of the year this is my daily driver. Does anyone know what a OD Cog and UD Pulley puts you at (PSI wise) w/ 2" headers and CAI?

Have you talked to a tuner? IMO, you will have no issues running OD and stock crank pulley. Otherwise, just drop to a 3.6" up front. Cheaper to do that anyways
