Is the roll cage there for just safety of the drivers or also for structural strength?

First off...I always love when I get an email from camaro5.com The pictures are amazing and I'll just reiterate what people have been saying...it is AWESOME to see the Camaro testing at the 'Ring.' It's so cool seeing the Camaro at a speed where the suspension is compressed And I think I'm feeling better about the "shark fin" antenna. It's not that bad and it's small and in the center as opposed to being offset.
I noticed at Autoblog.com and jalopnik.com that they both seem pretty sure that this is the 'SS' version that is testing at the 'Ring.' I say...how do you figure?? Once again, I'll wait until Scott has something to say about it. Until then...it's either an 'SS' or a 'Z28.'(even if Z28 isn't confirmed yet)

I totally agree with you on the rear end 91t/a. The rest of the car looks so tuff, but the rear looks..........strange.

I think if this is the final body, I am very satisfied.

The Ring is open to the public. You run there it’s just like running on a public road as far as exposure goes. I’d expect a video from KGP soon to show up on Edmunds or a similar site.
