i always get "You're the only one to complain about this." and my response is "Well what kinda people buy cars from you?" my first car was an old Chevy truck. over time, the entire drive train has been overhauled. i've learned to listen, feel, and watch for problems. a new car should have no problems. i bought this Camaro because i wanted something that was more comfortable, had AC, got better mileage, and would be more reliable than my old truck. now i go by the dealer at least once a month to address issues that i'm having. my old truck seems to be more reliable than this car.

the Camaro V6 models seem to have less issues than the V8 brothers.

Thats a possibility, I'm at 16K with no mechanical problems. I do have the stereo date problem, but I never turn it off so I never see it anyway.

My only problem is poor to non-existent FM radio reception. They have been troubleshooting the problem from head unit to antenna. Head unit replaced, same problem. The next thing is to replace the antenna cable from head unit to antenna. I haven't done that one yet, since I am out of town. If that doesn't work, then they are talking about replacing the antenna...and since that is in the rear window...ugh. I really hope it is only the cable. Fingers crossed.

Your probably not going to want to hear this, this is the highest quality car I have ever driven period!

No problems, a couple of minor ECU re-flashes because I wanted them done.

Nice to know you have a good one, like keepitgreasey mine has been a total let down on quality. I think half the miles on my car are from going to dealerships.

I'm sure there are a ton of people who don't realize that there is a "problem" with their Camaro... or don't know that there are available updates to correct problems that they're willing to live with. I had high expectations when I bought my Camaro. I see every detail.

Interesting. In my case, the Camaro has been the worse new car I have ever owned and I have owned a LOT of cars. There are tons of problem and TSB reports here, granted some are over blown, but a ton for any new car nonetheless. And this is just here. The majority of 5th Gen owners have probably never heard of this forum hence we don't know their problems, if any. I bought the Camaro not for reliability, this is my 6th Camaro and I love them. I knew the quality will be questionable but that didn't stop me. I knew, any company that goes through bankruptcy, lay-offs, terminations, will suffer quality issues in their products. Limited $$, Low employee morale = low quality. I want a new one now.

No problems as of yet, but I only have 2100 miles on it. That does include a 400 mile road trip to Indy and back. I love the power, the looks I get, and it seems like a quality car, so far. I just wish I could get in it all of the time without hitting my head on the roof
