I'm normally gung-ho for new hotness on our Z-Baby, but I'm not a fan of the Caddy hood. The Leno hood was all kinds of awesome IMHO.
Not gonna worry though, I can change the hood if I want it that badly. It's what's UNDER the hood that really matters. .

I honestly don't think we've seen the camouflaged final product. The production camaro stuck pretty close to the original renderings with Sang Yup in the photos. I believe the next level Camaro will have the hood we've seen in the old photos in the studio, the silver one. I think we'll get the wheels, hood and dove tail spoiler we seen in the old photos.
As for names, if not the Z28, then what could it be? ZR5 for the 5th gen. Z5, ZL5, ZX5? I think it will be something we haven't heard yet, not an old name brought back. SSR would be cool, but we all know that name was given to a useless pickup that was a waste of time and resources.

Here's the video from the sebring test and the hood while in the up position looks very similar to the pics of the prototype Z/28/HP edition Camaro. Check @ about 10-11 seconds in on the video below:
