Great news that Loudmouth II is now available. Any documented increase in HP with that system from the base 400 HP w/automatic?

Louthmouth Interior Resonance

Loudmouth (not LM II) has a strong interior resonance if that's what you like. Just listen to older Camaro's with the LM and some clips out there show both interior and exterior sounds.

The differences between the 4th Gen exhaust and 5th Gen exhaust are major. There is no interior resonance on the 5th Gen with the LoudMouth Exhaust.

Forgive my ignorance...

Is this a good thing or bad thing? Do I want interior resonance?

Has anyone taken a look at the pictures on SLP's website?
The Loudmouth essentially look like straight pipes, am i missing something?
$448 seems like a ton for some exhaust tube and tips.

I guess performance gains would really depend on how restrictive the stock mufflers are.
The stock pipes are 2.5 Inch right? Would replacing the Cat to Axel pipes really increase performance? The Borla system is only 2.5 inch right?
Is an X pipe that much better than the stock H pipe?

I would love to go with Corsa or Borla, but I can't really justify the extra $900 considering the stock system is already pretty good with the exception being the sound.

Here's a pic of the stock system from the axel forward.

Just saw another thread about removing the stock mufflers and running straight pipes.
+17 HP at the crank.

So as long as the SLP systems are less restrictive than stock (I can't imagine why they wouldn't be) you will see increased performance.
