I jist hope that even if the big V8 isn't available at launch, the information will be there. I would hate waiting for the bad boy and finding that I waited a year and still decided that the base V8 was what I really wanted. Factoring in price difference, performance difference, and such.

I think we are going to see both versions of the 3.6L V-6 and the LS3 because it won't make any sense to offer both the Ls3 and the L76 (or what ever the engine thats in the g8).

Didn't the disciples...or somebody....say that they decided to drop the low-powered V6.

And I don't think anybody ever expected them to put two different 'normal' V8's in the car. Just the affordable one, and then the GT500-fighter.

Well it still doesn't explain what three engine models will be available at launch.

The V6 is a sensible option leaving the V8 for those with the means and the desire.

There's some speculation for 2 V6 options, though I don't see that happening, probably 2 V8. Crossing fingers for a blown option.

I think it's been all but certified that there will be one V6 (3.6 VVT DI) and 2 V8s..... what the V8s will be is still a bit cloudy.
