I jist hope that even if the big V8 isn't available at launch, the information will be there. I would hate waiting for the bad boy and finding that I waited a year and still decided that the base V8 was what I really wanted. Factoring in price difference, performance difference, and such.

I think we are going to see both versions of the 3.6L V-6 and the LS3 because it won't make any sense to offer both the Ls3 and the L76 (or what ever the engine thats in the g8).

The V6 is a sensible option leaving the V8 for those with the means and the desire.

I think it's been all but certified that there will be one V6 (3.6 VVT DI) and 2 V8s..... what the V8s will be is still a bit cloudy.
