Personally I think it would be a fair comparison with these car only with the same driver. I can drive on GT5 all day and can't get a tenth of a second off this track, while my friend can easily make it half a second in front of me. The car is capable of doing so, but are all the other cars has a capable driver?
Anyways that's amazing at that price range they can deliver that kind of performance, I'll be getting one of those when I am done paying for mine!

I was thinking of this driving home the other day does the boss come with airbag delete option or a way to turn it off? Hate to be racing around the track and have it accidently deploy. I hope if GM is designing a car to be a weekend racer thinks of this as an option,

I am so use to older cars and not thinking of airbags. The idea of a race track and airbags not sure that makes me feel to good.
Are the 302S and 302R street legal?

The Boss 302R and 302S are not street legal, they are factory prep'd race cars ready to run. They are built very much like the Cobra Jet is for drag racing. The Boss 302R cost $79,000 (FIA GT4, Grand Am GS)and the Boss 302S cost $129,000 (FIA GT3, Grand Am GT). They are built to compete at high levels. |

Whats to think about? You crash, they deploy. No thought required.

You and another car bump and grind they deploy..Sounds like an issue to me. Drag racing is one thing road racing is a complete different beast.

My dealer said the new ZL1 will have a 540HP Rating and says it will be faster then the Z06.
