This.

I did a run over to Miss. this weekend in the rain... about 265 miles.

The car didn't melt.

I live in Colorado. My car is a daily driver and have yet (knock on wood) to have any issues with snow. I have General GMax AS03's mounted at all 4 corners and they do just fine. It also helps to have a manual xmission. My car is currently at 684rwp/614rwtq. Slow and steady wins the snow race!

I drove my camaro in the snow for 2 winters. That was more than enough. I got around ok, i had decent snow tires on it, but thats not the only concern. I hate getting stuck, and the snow/ice/salt wreaks havoc on cars. Im not doing that to my camaro anymore! So now my daily driver is a lifted 94 Suburban 4x4. I had it all last winter, never even came close to getting stuck. Can go through/over snowbanks twice as tall as the truck! Now, about 4 or 5 times a year when people call me to pull them out of a ditch, i remember why ill never go back to driving a small car in the winter. I prefer to get where im going, rather than getting into a ditch lol. But thats just me. I dont only store my camaro because its not great in the snow, i store it because i want to keep it in better shape too!

Before the first winter with my Camaro, I got a set of 18" wheels that fit over my Brembos, and put Blizzak rubber on them. Anything under 3", I'm on it! Luckily, when it goes over 3" of snow, my wife does NOT drive so I can take her AWD Equinox in to work.

While in the Air Force, I spent 4 years stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls MT. Job I worked involved a lot of 1 AM drives in to work or back home from work. Last winter there, we had 113" of snow and a lot of sub-zero days (some as low as 40 below with wind chill of 70 below). My daily (only) driver was a '68 Camaro, 327 with a two-speed powerglide and Firestone All-Season tires. Never missed a call time! So driving my 2010 Camaro SS with Blizzaks is a piece of cake!

When I first bought the car, I noticed a sense of "tunnel vision" when driving it , but quickly got used to it and it didn't bother me.

During a snow event- that same feeling comes back, and its impossible for me to shake off.

Now looking for a winter beater.

Even if I had a garage to store it in, I could not fathom NOT being able to drive it for 5 months or so. I don't know how you guys can store your Camaros all winter and not drive them. I feel bad for my Camaro if I don't drive it at least 5 times a week. It just seems to get a sad look when it just sits there, not being driven. LOL.

Damn i think this is where they got the idea for the 2014 front end lol

Haha, now that you mention it, maybe it was! I didn't even notice that it looks strikingly similar to a 2014 front when I took the picture, and even now when I uploaded it to post it here, lol.
