I was not specifically accusatory as MANY of us weren't sure if that was accurate as NO ONE got 10/8 until weeks after 10/15's were identified as the first batch to be built. Additionally, until we actually saw proof that someone's 10/8 car got built....we were not sure. Sorry if I offended your "integrity". Congrats on your 1LE.

My car had 3 TPWs, first was 9/24, then 10/15, and finally 10/8. I was trying to keep everyone here waiting for cars updated on the progress. All I can say is, watch out Mustangs, the 1LEs are soon to be on the loose!

Now we'll all be pacing the floors and constantly checking like expectant fathers.

I'm actually not too excited. I KNOW it's like 3 weeks or so before delivery still. The only thing to be excited about this week is to get a VIN....all THAT means is that an invoice can be created and that means I have to pay for the f*ckin thing soon. LOL Once my dealer can see the invoice he will give me a final quote on it.

Ha ha ha!
Second trip through for me. I'm chomping at the bit. The dealer wanted my trade as a pre- so I've been carless for a few weeks already. It just doesn't feel right. |

Tell me about it, I havent washed my trade (2011 ford escape 2x4 4cyl.) in weeks because I know I am trading it in. I will never buy another Ford after driving my escape for 2 years now just cant wait to get rid of it. The engine and trani are horriable! Anyways, I cant wait to get my car! I called my dealer this morning and he didnt have any update on anything. He told me though from the day it is built I will be sitting in it 10 days! Has anyone else got this information?

There is a targeted delivery date that shows up on the invoice, but it is an estimate that can be off by several days. Mine says delivery to the dealership will be on 10/23 (12 days from built date) and that would be awesome, but I am not going to count on it. Where you live relative to Oshawa may be a factor here as well.
