Brake pad help
Brought my 2011 SS in the shop twice for terrible squeeking when i apply a soft brake. They say I have pad life left and my rotors are fine. I have 30,000 miles on the car and it just recently started doing it. I really dont beleive that it just the way it is neither cuz I didnt hear the squeeking on the prior 29,000 miles. Something wore but it is what is is. My question to anyone that can help me is what high performance brake pads do you suggest I go with?
Thanks |

Squeeking will occur on any performance brakes. It sounds like a bus or a large truck, but remember they need high performance brakes too just to stop a heavy bus and youre getting them on your Camaro

As for pad selection, It really depends on what you use the car for. 9/10 I will recommend the Hawk HPS for street use, but if you are tracking the car then we do have other options available as well. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions or pricing and we'll get you set up right! Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I will be installing a set of Hawks HPS on my daily driver. Also going with a set of Baer Decela Sport Rotors.
