best catback power with little drone/AFM noise

Brands anyone? I like a good low sound, but not crazy loud when I leave for work early in the morning. Just when I ask for it.

You might want to check out the MBRP catback for the L99. It appears to be a pretty quiet setup.

As of right now, the 2.5'' Magnaflow street catback is probably one of the quietest systems I know of.

I don't really want them that quiet....just not like a drag car that makes everyone in the neighborhood sit up in bed when the car fires up.

I really like this sound (I know it has headers as well), but i worry about AFM and drone.

Sounds Ok, but not deep enough for me. Also, it isn't catback which is what i want for more power...

I would avoid corsa as it is slightly more raspy and high pitched. I would check out the touring edition of the Borla cat-back. It seems to be exactly what you are looking for.

check this out, there is a video of the sound there too. He is a customer of mine, and described the sound he wanted, just like you did. He is very happy with it.

Mach XL is a catback with true Xpipe resonator, They also have the Quantum which isw axel back. And there is a group buy for the L99 until 11/01/2009 check it out. 775 minus 1% for every person who buys up to 20. There are 9 right now and alot of people are jumping on. There are a bunch of people who missed out on the ls3 grou0p buy and they are bummin. Check it out

I have Corsa and love it.

Bottom line is, if they have addressed AFM drone properly w/ resonator it will naturally be quiet until you go WOT. Then it really opens up. Here's my video

Magnaflow 3" Buy from LMR cheap. Deepest tone out there and quiet till you wake it.

Check out our Solo Performance Mach XL kit. It is a no drone kit, even with the AFR. We are running a group buy until October 30, so jump in it now. The price can't be beat!
