NPB with a bonus

Went slightly better on 60 foot and ET on MT Street R 26" tires and little more power with 60% E-85 blend.

Bonus was taking out 2 GTRs and a Lambo on the last pass. Of course my GoPro had to die on the last pass against the exotic, but he went down.

DA was decent at 1100-1000. Car should run deeper in the 10's with more seat time and cold air. Car did not like launching over 4500 rpm with either bogging (2nd pass) or spinning (last pass). Driver needs more work also. Had fun running people down on the big end!!

Congrats on you NPB, and for the take down of GTR and Lambo. Impressive!

Is the 26" MT a different tire than what you ran with previous PB.

Thanks Guys. I was running a 27" MT drag radial II before trying this new tire out. These Street R definitely hook better but my MPH has gone down a bit on this 26" tire. I am now shifting into 5th gear through the traps with the higher gearing.

I tried shifting at 6500 instead of 6200 on my 2nd and 3rd pass which definitely helped my MPH on this shorter tire.

Congrats and thanks for the updates. I bought a set of 26" Hoosiers I haven't tried yet. I want to try to get my car over 220+ in the standing mile before I go back to drag racing and possibly destroy another transmission. Not many manual cars in the 10's. Awesome!

Thanks Jess! Appreciate that. I still think I'm the weak link on putting this combo where it should be. Just need more seat time. You will like the 26" tire if your motor makes big power up top. Yours makes it everywhere.

I should be shifting at 6600-6700 instead of 6200-6400 on this smaller tire based on my last dyno. I picked up 3 mph just moving my shift points up from 6200-6400 last night.

Good luck on the 220 MPH Ride in the Mile. Sounds Wicked Man!

Nice passes Chett!!! I've had the best luck at our track with the 28" Hoosier slicks. The M6 is definitely tricky to handle out of the hole. Sadly I'd just figured mine out and sold the car. Lol

Thanks Man! Yeah the Car is slammed to ground now on the 26" tire. Speed bumps are a Major problem now. I'll post a pic of the car cleaned up on the new setup

Yes that is the factory NPP exhaust with the ADM controller with baffles open through 2" Kooks headers and cats delete.

Thanks Lance! Tricky is an understatement. Everything has to be perfect to pull off a decent pass let alone a good one! I'm trying to get there Man.
