street drag tire help please

I am looking for a good street drag tire the I can put on my stock ZL1 wheels front and back .. ?

There must be 100 threads about this on here. That being said the M/T street DR's seem to be the main choice that most run. I had a set on my last Z and they work great. I just left the stock GY's that came on my car on the front but if you want to spend some cash get the Weld drag setup and run them all of the time. I know guys who do this and really like the looks plus they say it is good for driving straight but you have to be careful when taking corners to fast because the car will push the skinnies up front so it will get your attention when that happens.

MT ET street 2 will get the job done on stock 20s. Obviously wear out very fast, but well worth the performance that they can offer.

Yeah pretty soft sidewalls. You can definitely feel the rear kick out/drift out a little bit during a turn on the street if your going too fast

Give toyo proxes R888 a look got them on mine and they are a great tire for street track and they have decent wear and they look awesome.

are they loud? I could not tell you that my car is loud so I can't tell sorry. 285 /35/20 on front 315/30/20 rear. Lost my phone last fall lost a lot of my pics but here is another one. These tires are night and day compared to stock GYs. Hope this helps.
