Yep, I'm getting this as well. If I kept my foot out of it(shifted before 2000 rpms all the time) I could get much better. Who the heck wants to do that with a SS manual anyway. I drive this car and have fun. Gas mileage was not even a consideration for me. I know on the highway I can get well into the upper 20's. I have done it already, actually hitting over 30 at one point.
On a long trip in 6th gear it will get more than sufficient mileage. |

I am not resetting my DIC just going to keep going with it and see what it says over time. Right now 890 miles getting 16.4 city. I also just changed the oil at 810 miles. Valves chatter is now gone with oil change.

Book did not say to. But with knowing there is alot of metal in the oil and filter from breaking in I changed it. And boy she is running like a night and day difference. She has no problems breaking lose the rear end now. Even in normal drive.

150 miles - all city
DIC read 16 mpg Did have a little front end vibration at start-up and prolonged idling. Gone now after filled with premium; think it was due to the 87 octane from the dealer PDI. Cheap dealer; could have at least filled the tank with premium. 2SS/RS Black/Grey 6MN VIN # 7883 |
