And you're going to go with a GM truck??? Ford makes a really good pickup.

Here in Texas where every other vehicle is a pickup truck, the Fords have a gr8 reputation. My son's f350 Super Duty is an awesome truck.

To each his own I guess. I'd be interested in looking at the VIN to see what was done. I'm always skeptical of people who don't buy the same type of vehicle when they get the buy back.

Just keep in mind....there are two ways you can get the 6.2,either with the "NHT" Max-Trailering Package,or as a separate stand alone option.
With the NHT pkg it comes with 3.73 gears, without the NHT pkg. (as a separate option) it comes with 3.42's.
Also keep in mind that with the NHT pkg. your limited to the 17" wheels and Z85 suspension,The 6.2 as a seperate option you can get 18's or 20's,and either the Z71 or Z60 suspension pkgs.
Either way you'll get the bigger 9.5" rear axle and rear disc brakes (non-6.2 trucks have the 8.625" rear axle and drum brakes)
If you have any questions on any Silverado let me know,I'm an expert on them!

I have a truck... didn't need another one, so I bought a fast car that got more than twice the gas mileage and seats two since I drive by myself all the time.

Since I bought the car, I lost my job and was unemployed for 10 months, became re-employed and making good money, but am looking at unemployment again. I'm going to sit on the money until I secure my next gig.

Why a truck and not another Camaro? I tossed around the idea of getting a 2011... but then again, I had 10 months of thinking and not much driving... and decided that if I were to get another vehicle, I would get a brand new truck that would be just as comfortable as the Camaro, and would be plenty more capable of handling any road conditions. These heavy rains in Southern California made driving my Camaro SUCK. Any more than 1/4" of water in a puddle and I'm hydroplaning. So I started driving my truck to work and I was able to plow through 6" deep water without a problem.

A truck I can take camping... drive off road... mud... snow... sand...

A Camaro... I have to crawl through dips and watch out for those parking stops in the parking lots.

Forgive me, but this statement really doesn't make sense to me. So what your saying is because he's not getting the same type of car he is somehow misrepresenting the problems with the car just because maybe he just wanted a different car?

It's not easy to get a car lemoned. I'm sure it had the problems that allowed him to deserve his money back.

I would think alot of people would not buy the same car they just had a ton of problems with and had to lemon law it.
