OP....This is not on the Roebling track schedule (good thing) as you coordinated this offline as stated in OP...so this IS a Camaro specific event correct? More Camaros the better but we start getting random other cars coming out there we will get less and less track time. What's the real dealio?

No this track day is not on Roebling Roads schedule, it was changed from a Friday's event till a saturday's event thru Seat-time.
No this isn't just a Camaro event, I wish if it were it would take about 40+ cars and about an average cost of 220.00 each maybe more, with it being on a Saturday, that's 1 reason Seat-time, Hooked on Driving usually rents the track on Friday's (cheaper).
Seat-Time only runs 3 run groups
DE 5/20 mins
Solo 5/20 mins
Advanced 5/20 mins
The average time to run the track is around is under 2 mins
I hope this answers your question's
Jon the owner of Seat-Time is doing me a favor on the group price, he should have his discount pricing set-up in the next couple of days, I will keep everyone posted.
Michael

The track opens up at 7am I will be there at 7am, you only have to register (sign-in) and then car inspection, that usually takes around 15 minutes. I would try to be at the track no later then 8am
Have around 1/2 to 3/4 of gas, make sure you download forums from Seat-time's web site.
Driver's meeting around 830-845
1st group out at 9am then from there every 20 mins another run group

It is a fun time. If you have a ZL1 or use gas like a ZL1 you will need a full tank of gas to do all the runs or you need to go get gas during lunch. Hope I can make it..........

The best price on premium in the area is usually at the first exit coming in from S.C. on hwy 21 at the Pilot station but SAMS at the airport exit/Pooler Parkway is also normally cheaper especially on most weekends. I filled up on $3.34 premium at Pilot yesterday after checking my favorite app Gas Buddy. These gas spots are only about a 15 minute ride to the track in Bloomingdale on hwy 80.

For those people who have never been to Roebling Road, there are 2 gas station's less then 5 minutes from the track, there is also a Subway station 5 minutes from the track also. The track also sells race fuel there I think somewhere around 8 or 9 per gallon.
Seat-time does allow us to wear a motorcycle helmet, but for those who are planning on buying a helmet look at buying a SA2010 rated helmet, a good place on-line is www.apexperformance.net

When I'm running a track I usually have between 1/4 to 3/8 full of gas (weight), when I drive my camaro I usually burn around 1/4 tank in 1 session (20 minutes), my corvette burns less do to the HP.
I am excited to put my Camaro back on a road course, considering it's been almost 2 years.
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon
Michael

I'm excited as well! Course doesnt look extremely technical for us that have to use an instructor as first timers...great chance to pick up on some skills. I'll probably show up with a lil over 1/2 tank for a couple runds before a refill @ lunch. We need to prepay or when we get there?

I always tell people that Roebling is a great track to run, especially for newbie's
it's a very forgiving track with lots of run off area's. Compared to other tracks that I've been on, no it's not a very technical track.
As a Nasa track holder of Roebling says Roebling Road is a easy track to drive but a hard track to master his track record is a 1 min 15 sec
Yes you will need to prepay, I'm still waiting for Seat-time to set up his paypal discount account for us.
Michael

Sweet. I had a hang up with my helmet. They didn't tell me the matte black ones were on backorder so I called and switched to a white one. Just making sure everything gets here on time. Also have a GoPro 3 Black edition on the way.
