Currently looking to order 5 pairs of 30 mile range (in perfect unobstructed areas and as low as 2 miles in bad areas according to a few sites)..... based on this #, everyone is paying $43.07 per pair and receiving for CCOTR's March BBQ event. Multiples of 4 are best pricing, 6's a little better than current 5 pairs.

Currently at 11 pairs and ordering soon..... they're Cobra CXR875 models

FYI:Camaro5 mods..... just a local club big order for Zero profit and no gain on my part to the penny (free club work)

Cool pic Rob! I just saw this post... actually already ordered 11 pairs. Your's would have made a perfect 12 to max out the pricing - however already placed the order. They're supposed to arrive this Tuesday. If your interested, I do have a single radio with a spare battery I'd sell for cheap..... 22 mile range vs 30 on the ones we ordered. I broke the volume button on the other one. Same style as the ones I ordered, but less range. Cobra LI-6700

I did valve covers on my L98 Vette centerbolt valve covers. I tried reusing the original gasket as I was told it was in good enough shape but I cleaned it. They leaked still, I tried siliconing them to the heads... leaked. Then I tried using RTV silicone gasket maker and they still leak like a flat tire. Anyone know a proper way to do these or can possibly help? A local shop quoted me $568 just to do them...

Buy some new felpro gaskets, clean the valve covers of all silicone and oil, heads as well and put them on. A common problem with the center bolts is over torqueing them. Put the bolts on until snug and them go 1/4 turn. Try that. Gaskets available at Napa.
