We need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by drilling OUR OWN oil.

If we can put a man on the moon in less than 10 years 40 years ago, we can get oil from the ground to the gastank in under 10 years (contrary to what some people think).

Furthermore, if it actually DOES take 10 years, then the sooner we start, the BETTER. 10 years from now we could be saying "Well, gas is $25 a gallon but we can't drill for oil now because it would take 10 years to see it..."
