The way it looks, the 1/4 windows are going to be solid mounted. The convert. will likely be cloth in that area.

Gotta love this shit!

I just really hope the Z28 (or SS) has a bit more,... well,... something. That seems awfully plain for some reason. The sharkfins aren't even cut out,... the wheels-n-tires seem out of place,...
Flame me if you want, but I'm almost saying "yuk". Maybe I'm jumping the gun or a couple sheets to the wind,... but if the Camaro full-out-production looks like that,... I might go Challenger. Also,.. WTH is the point of the scoop up front if the airbox is off to the right? I seriously hope the higher end model has forced air (like the late WS6).

Once again, this is a base model and is in an unfinished form.

Once again, I don't like how it looks at all.
I simply stated I hope the higher end models look better.

While I wish we could see the V8, it is nice to have this engine in pictures. I think it looks quite nice, especially for a test mule. Most modern engine bays look that way now. If you want it flashier, you have to go aftermarket. I like the space under the hood we have to work with, and I am a fan of GM's use of struts for the hood and trunk lids. Its a nice touch.

I understand that some people are enthusiastic about how the actual engine bay, parts, and components look. Personally, I usually drive with the hood closed, so it doesn't matter that much to me.
Bring on the Z28!!

I can see a higher displacement version of this engine being developed. A 3900 making 350hp+.

If that is a V6 in the Germany video then thats 1 more reason for me to get the V6. I think It sounds a hell of a lot like a v8 though. I have a v6 and have been around many GM v6's and they have a unique sound to them and that video isn't it unless the exhaust is something really different. but I will agree it doesn't shout "V8!!!" in the video, it is pretty soft.

The best thing about the Zeta Platform is that ALL the engines sit way back in the chassis, giving the car an almost perfect front to rear weight distribution. I just hope that considering Australia did all the development work, we actually get a right hand drive version here. Ive seen 3 or 4 so far driving in and around Melbourne, and its soooo not fair if i cant have my very own bumble bee!

2010 Chevy Camaro Showing Off Best Shots Yet Of DI V6 Engine
JALOPNIK had this to say about the V6 pics... For all you Camaro fan-boys and fan-girls out there
SOURCE: http://jalopnik.com/392828/2010-chev...f-di-v6-engine You may have been thinking General Motors has timed their muscle car revival all wrong, what with the 2010 Chevy Camaro coming out just as gas hits $51 per gallon. But see that's just what they want — to make driving this car an indulgence. And why wouldn't it be? Especially as it now appears that although the V8-engined 2010 Camaro SS may be getting all the attention, the V6 is going to pack quite a punch as well. These new shots from the forum fan-boys looking beyond the F-body at Camaro5 give us the clearest look yet under the hood of the six-cylinder model. But this does not appear to be your grandpa's engine. Look closely at the throttle-body size and shape and the bolts holding it on, the three fluid reservoirs in the same locations, all cues that this is indeed the glorious direct-injection V6. That means about 300 HP, the same sort of power Ford gets from the V8 Mustang GT. And look, they've even moved the battery out of the engine bay, likely mounting it in the trunk like the Pontiac G8. All in all it looks like just the thing for the indulgence-minded muscle car buyer.
