I was watching this youtube video of a 14 1le doing donuts and all this guy could get was a 1 wheel peel. Is this the norm? I thought both wheels would spin like a posi... anyone else have this issue? I have not tried due to the fact I dont want to burn up my tires for no reason but if i do try I dont want this to happen. Could this be a traction control issue?

One sacrifice of a helical diff, of which I'd happily make for a great handling car on street tires.

so im gathering so far this is or will be a issue at some time. Coming from a 99 ss I have never had to deal with a independent rear suspension before. Is the kit that guy is offering some sort of locker im having trouble finding info on it. Thanks in advance

Probably left traction control on. Looks like a newb driver since he stalled it. Black sure does look sweet though with non RS.

Agree with Pyrolysis. Notice it is always the inside tire making the smoke? It has to spin faster to keep up with the outer wheel, or appears to spin faster do to the shorter circumfrance(sp?) it is traveling than the outer wheel. Hope im making sense...lol

Mine laid down 2 thick black patches of rubber when I went out for donuts.

I think most of the one wheel peel is due to him dumping clutch WHILE the car was turning at ABOUT 5-10 mph. If he were to dump clutch in a straight line when both rears were turning at the same rate it would be different. I have noticed in mine dumping clutch going straight and dumping clutch as the rear wheels are turning different speeds it somewhat does the same thing. But no I've never had a one wheel peel like that before. But remember these cars have a limited slip. Not a locker, and a not so posi either

My 02 z28 had a zexel torsen and it somewhat did the same thing, until I put in an auburn unit.

I have never quite understood the need for some people to smoke the tires. When I break traction, it is always by accident. Spinning ain't winning....
