Color choices?
Hi all,
New poster here. Im a diehard Viper fanatic at heart and have told myself that it was the first thing Im going after. But after seeing the new Camaro, I might have to take a little detour first Anyways, What confirmed color choices do we know of? I have fallen in love w/ the silver color but, a steel grey color w/ silver stripes might change my mind. |

Let me be the first to welcome you ,then! Your gonna have fun here, and don't hesitate to post anywhere you like - we want to hear from people. Oh, and good choice of a detour ...
Officially, I have heard no confirmed choices, but hugger orange and silver seem to be a go - stupid to put them on the concepts and not the production, right? I would look for "modern interpretations of traditional colors" ~ GM (commenting on hugger orange) Agreed though, Silver is hot, and if you're looking for some eye-candy, we've got two threads in the Photo/spyshots/media gallery...called "Solution to all color problems", and "Photoshop Choppers only". There are some great pics in both, but in mine, the "solution" thread I've tried to re-create some traditional 69 Camaro colors. Mine is 14+ pages, and the other one is 8+ so you'll have some fun there! Again Welcome! BTW. chances are that this thread may be moved or combined with another, because I think I have seen a similar, earlier thread...just a heads up |

Thanks for the welcome. I've trolled around for the last week and finally decide to register. I play around with PS myself and made a black striped silver concept with HRE black centered wheels. Can't wait for this car to hit the showrooms. I will graduate college in Spring of '08 and this would be perfect timing if it came out then.
...................I just hope they don't botch the size of the wheels. |

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but I wouldn't look for 21's , and 22's production. I can see 19's standard, and maybe a king-size upgrade...
You know, I've been googling the 69's colors, and I gotta say, silver w/ black stripes on that thing is gorgeous. So are all the other colors, but I like serious muscle cars (you know, the kind that want to rip your face off in a race, but shimmer in the sunlight) |

well, 19's wouldn't be THAT bad. I just don't want to see the car come with huge profile tires. I hate that. I would not paying extra for an upgrade package.
I'm just ready for the dang thing to get here |

How ya doing, Rocket. Good to have you here. Feel free to post up any and all chopped pix of the 5th Gen you have. We'd love to see them...and jump right on in the discussion. Quite a few of us can't seem to get enough of talking about it!
