I've seen a few posts on here with people planning to get that same device on their vehicle.
Nah , without actually seeing what was done. It could be as simple as where he tied into power for the controller. OR it could be nothing to deal with the controller.

Not good. Sounds like looking for a needle in a haystack.

They are as frustrated as I am. Like Ed says below, it is really a computer networking issue, not a car issue. We have some mega-feelers out there right now. We are going to order a brand new BCM and get is flashed in the most stripped down mode possible with the SST VIN. That way we should be able to get it running again and have a backup unit.

Ha, pretty funny A. The only reason we picked 14 psi is because anything above that is just worse wheel spin.

I hope it is just the SST because of the number of computers that talk to each other. Literally we don't need the BCM to run the car if it lets us. The engine is a stand alone controller as is the transmission. We did that because there was no other way to support the 16 injectors with the octane-on-demand system. I am sure the AMS-1000 will work fine with the factory PCM/ECM.

You hit the nail on the head with that one ED. :bangdesk:

We did a double check on the connections and the AMS-1000 is definitely on a stand alone circuit. Do not know if that is a good thing or bad thing yet. Good in that it was wired right. Bad in that it does not make a lot of sense why it would set off the BCM and put it into transport mode.
