If its for a very very short amount of time, probably 5-15 mins, you should be fine. However, still I would suggest you to get a jack... If that scissor jack fell, you can potentially hit your car, the wall, and yourself.

Yup, go I'm from the front, then a second lift from the side, then jacks.. The secondary lift was needed because my side rockers and was too low.

Yep. Jack placements are shown in the owners manual.

Yes, it's fine. Just make sure the contact spot on the jack is appropriate for where you intend to place it on the car. As noted, reference the car's owner's manual for jack placement.

Scissor jacks aren't a proper way to support the car if you need to get under it. Always use additional support or jack stands if you intend to work under the car while it's lifted up.

If you are using a scissor Jack, at least have 2 jack stands underneath, I would say that would be a must.

Agree with above input, I bought a Mazda small truck/SUV scissor jack, I only use it at the track as needed to swap brake pads without having to bring a floor jack, use a impact wrench to raise/lower, but without a solid flat surface like cement it is dangerous IMO.

I use em to supplement my hydrolic jacks. Can never be too cautious.
