Red ambient lighting on the interior can go with any car. I feel the outside look and inside look are 2 separate things. Who you trying to impress with different colored ambient lighting anyways? For one, I can tell you that most chicks prefer the red... symbolizes passion and love

But red-faced gauges would be way too much for me. I'd swap them out as soon as I possibly could. Red IP lighting I think would be riding the comfort line...I really, really prefer blue over red (which is actually one of the reasons I prefer the Equinox over the Terrain...)
So, how would you feel about the silver/white gauges from the Camaro Black edition?

I don't think they'd fit with the gloss-black/suede/red stitching and lighting color scheme, personally.

And to be honest, I was never a fan of bright-faced gauges...I like the numbers to pop out at me - I mean I don't hate them...but I like the current "charcoal" or whatever they are...

OK, I understand. I am kind of hoping the gauges are a little different just to set them apart from the LS & SS. Being a little bit selfish and greedy I guess. I am sure the ZL1 will have everything I want and more.

So the dash will have ABL as well? If this is the case I wonder what they are using as their source of emitting the light seeing as Tyco discontinued their longer light pipes.

True, just my being greedy and a little impatient. Like you, ZL1 delivery date cannot be soon enough.

Yes, I do wish the ambient lighting and maybe the stitching was to match the exterior color or customer's choice. Would be cool to mix and match the lighting and exterior color.

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Do we know if the ABL is just in the doors or if it will stretch the dash?

I have not seen anything that the red ambient will be on the dash, most likely just the doors.

Man - I wish that would get fixed... Fortunately, there are enough Members here who have shared what they've been doing to fix that problem so I know I can have a go at it if necessary.

I, too, vote for a pick-your-color scheme. I lean toward the blue and think I would ultimately like the look of the red faces, but it might be a little much for me, too. I would like some contrast, though, so if that were my only option aside from the standard charcoal or argent, I'd probably go that way. I'm sure I'll be adding some Autometer Cobalt aux' gauges anyways, and they have some red, so I'll probably be good either way. It just doesn't seem unreasonable to get a multi-color set-up at this point, considering the market.

JMHO.

Is the red stitching standard? It would be nice to be able to choose the color. I'm OCD so if the stitching is only in red that narrows down my exterior color choices.
