For those of you in Texas you're probably familiar with the Texas Mile and the black 4th gen Camaro that used to pretty much run that place, it is now completely totaled. If you aren't familiar here are videos of some of the scary stuff that's happened to it:

It hurts to look at all this, this Camaro was my favorite. Props to LMR

Im glad the driver is ok.... That was some nasty business. Apparently he was released from the hospital yesterday.

Fastest Camaro in America, reduced to recycling in a heartbeat. Really is too bad, but also a testament to the safety equipment and the importance of proper safety and maintenance that he not only survived, but with such "minor" injuries.

My stock SS is faster than that

I'm glad everyone is okay. I love how they kept the t-tops. Still even have the little velcro fasteners on them.

oops, never mind, I was too busy rubbing my eyes to make sure what i was seeing in that picture was really there and missed the link lol And after reading what happened, I'm surprised that there is that much left of that car. 2,800 hp, 263 mph.

The car rolled about 8x before sliding on it's side for about a 1/4 mile. Thank God the driver walked away. He's doing better but his eyes are full of blood. The owner Kelly Bise, didn't seem that upset about his car (500,000 loss in a 10 year investment). The guy has some deep pocket$.

I'm friends with the driver, I'm glad he's okay, first rumor had been that he had broken both legs. But he does have a concussion and had to get multiple stitches.
