ZL1 Car Battery

To those building our car I was wondering what brand/kind of car battery is in the ZL1? If you have a part number that would be nice to so we can get the full specs.

Also, unrelated to the ZL1, what car batteries do you guys like and why? My 93 Chevy Truck has a dead battery, the current battery(It's a Red Top Optima) I wasn't satisfied with.

I heard they switched to a battery housing that is made up of 180 AA Energizer batteries.... Weird.

Lol, not sure what tempted me to write this. I am curious to hear what kind as well.

After years of frustration with Die Hards and other off brands, I now only buy Delco Batteries. I buy the seven year model. The last one lasted me 8 years.

Believe it or not, I have had good luck with batteries from Wal*Mart.

Isn't it amazing what the factory is able to coerce manufacturers to supply~

Battery

I recently replaced the original battey in my wifes 2004 sivlerado, with the batt from my 07 classic silverado. I put an X2 power AGM in my truck. This was what the owner of the batt shop recommended, I plan to put one in each of my vehicles.

Yeah I was thinking about stepping up to that one if the 15 lb one couldn't keep up, but it's been doing great even with my ASP under drive pulley.
