It's street legal, none of these "street" cars are that great on the street anyways. They either need race gas all the time, they're twitchy, too loud, etc. Not to say you can't drive them on the street, but I haven't to see a car trap 150 and be great street car.

I love to see the licence plate offset a little to make room for the 'chute in the middle

It's easier than that motorhead...
We remove the license plate, four screws, then slide the mount bar into the hole... pin it inside the trunk, slide the release cable through a little hole drilled, and screw the remote battery shut off in... Done racing, slide the cable back in, unpin the chute bar and slide it out, then unscrew the remote battery shutoff and screw the plate back on... Five to ten minutes either way... I've also seen one on an older car that had a flip down license plate...

Just like he said. Chute mount hidden behind the plate. Just take plate off, slide chute in, attach pins, etc.

Pretty easy to make a 150-160 trap street car nowadays.
All you need is the money. LSX/RHS block, twins, fuel, suspension and you're good to go all day long.

Yup.
That's what I am looking for out of my V... 1350rwhp with a 4L80.. twin 67s. I think it may be one of the first 4l80s in a gen 2 V. Parachute mount behind license plate... All the fun stuff! Now I'm looking into suspension! Will post a build thread in the coming weeks.
