Smile Sorry Guys GT 500 in the Garage

I ordered a new 2SS last November. Still stuck at 3000 and holding. Dealer says it may be October before the car is produced. Been without a car since April this year. Just took delivery of a GT 500 Mustang. Power is outstanding and handling is so-so. Very happy with the car so I canceled my Camaro order. Honestly, I would rather have a Camaro but I simply can't wait till October. I appreciate the demand for this car but I expected the pre-ordered cars to get priority over rental units, dealer cars etc... Thanks for all the input on past questions, I appreciated all the feedback I got. I still love the Camaro---have had one since birth, I simply just can't wait for Chevy to make these cars. I'll wait a year or two and the SS's will be all over dealer lots for less than MSRP for sure. , if available, I'll pick one up. Camaro is a great ride but, it's inmaterial if I can't actually drive/own one. I hope Chevy steps up production for the sake of all the people that have one on order. Enjoy your car no matter who made it!!!!!

Thank you,

Lovestanda

I never could figure out why... you build cars...and spread them out all over the place... ...to sell more cars ...at the expense of selling cars. I understand that - collectively you sell more cars but in the case of gm right now - a bird in the hand....just idle thoughts...

Congrats on the purchase. GT500 is a serious machine.

...I just can't help but comment that the impatience I'm witnessing across this forum lately is astounding....

Thanks to all

I really love Camaros---had one since I learned how to drive, now 45 yo. Just could not wait another several months for the car. I hope to someday have a new SS but for now, a Mustang was more easily available to me. Feel like a traitor but that won't keep me from enjoying the GT 500's power. Take care Camaro people---wish I was one of you! Maybe someday?

Won't lie, if I had another 10k I would be looking at the 500 but alas the Navy doesn't pay that well.
