Anyone picking up their Christmas Tree in a Camaro?

Title says it all. I want to take my daughter to cut down a Christmas Tree, but I don't have a lot of choices for getting it home. I'm close enough to the city that it's a good ways to get to a cut-your-own farm from here (probably 30-40 mins). Anyone manage to pick up a tree yet without damaging the car or losing the tree?

I'm leaning towards scheduling my 15k early and hoping for a Silverado loaner like last time, lol.

Make sure to put the back seats down before you jam that thing in the trunk

Well, we always get a 10 foot tree for the living room, so instead we used my father's 2008 Chevy Avalanche. No matter how many times I offered to strap that sucker to the roof of my camaro, it was a no go.... :(

(kidding.... haha)

I use an artificial tree now, but when I was much younger, I picked up a 14 foot tree with a subaru Impreza. The tree was longer than the car. I wished I had gotten a picture of that. I would not pick it up in the Camaro though. The paint is a bit fragile now.
