Damn!... tore it apart and rebuilt with something else -- wow, COPO may have been a better way to go, but heck, that is some kind-of street killer. 2500 HP -- Hello/Good bye Kitty...

it's a nice build. they did a ton of work on that car and still keep the AC and other factory stuff like the speedo/tac, heads up, ect. all it takes is a little money

That car has a lot more than 7's in it. Just need to keep sorting it out.

I read the article. Was confused why he started with a zl1 but with the money he spent he probably did not care

That's pretty awesome. Makes me think, what makes a ZL1 a ZL1. Is it the LSA, the body style or the other tech in it? When you step up into big power, seems like most people ditch the LSA. I like seeing the threads where some folks have stuck with LSA and are making 700+ with the stock motor. Built of course but still the started off with the stock block.

Stock bottom end lsa's have made 1200+ at the wheels. Not common but has happened. 700-900 at the wheels is quite common with unbuilt lsa's.

I thought turbo cars sucked at 1/4 mile? That is what I keep reading here.

N/A and FI have it all at the starting line, but turbos have an awesome top end for the most part. Will the turbo's top end be enough to overcome the lead the FI cars might have? Sometimes yes, sometimes not so much. |

As for as the fastest cars, I would say it's a wash. The only 5 second truck is turbocharged. The fastest LS cars are turbocharged. Some of the fastest mountain motored cars are nitrous motors.
