Exhaust Cutouts
Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking at QTP's with electronic cutouts, which are adjustable from 0 to 100% or DMH cutouts, which is either Open or Closed. Looking for reliable ones with good warranty that will last a few years. If there are other brands beside the ones above that are better let me know. Never had these are my car, but like the option to have them open and loud when I want it to be.

I had a cut out on my 95 and loved it.

QTP. And yes. Also easy to wire in and install. I am likely going to get two of them for the 2010.

Not paying $950 for cutouts. I might as well go with a full exhaust for a few dollars more...

I have QTPs on my Chevelle and they work great! I have Flowtech Warlock mufflers that have a bypass built in....bolted the QTP's up to that flange.

Both of my QTPs for a 3" exhaust were around $350 through Summit Racing Equipment!

I got manual ones on my 94 (yes...I gotta take the wingnuts out myself) and I love it! When I feel like having a LOUD car...I take them off..but then it starts getting on my nerves so I cover it up...gotta love that!
But the wife did bring ask me the other day if I was gonna get them...I don't know...I'm getting a V6...so it's 50/50.

i am on the fence between this and catback.
there appears to be prime real estate just in front of the mufflers... if you dont mind them being that far back.... (which is a plus for me) after hearing the muffler delete video... i am really leaning to putting mine just before the muffs. the muff delete was loud... but no too loud... and this way you can be quite if you want.
