my first serious mod on my 1le.

already have cai but i throw that on everything i drive so for me i dont consider it a mod i guess .finished installing my arh long tubes ,high flo cats ,and x pipe. took me about 6 hours by myself with no lift so not to bad. the fit and finish of the headers was perfect, this is the fourth set of headers i have installed and by far the best i have worked with. now for the sound, i had in my mind the sound i was looking for but was not to sure how they would sound with the duel mode exhaust well let me say it sounds better then what i was hoping for. the car looked perfect in my mind but the sound never match the looks, it now looks and sounds like a mucle car should. stealth mode is definitely out the window. ha.

Is it still quiet when you are crusing with the exhaust valves closed?

I have kooks LTs with NPP on mine. At freeway speeds it is very "quiet" meaning you can hold a conversation and it not be obnoxious. It still has a very nice growl but it isnt loud by any means. But once you get on it..... Amazing! Certainly the best of both worlds!

yes still sounds tame when just crusin on the highway, put the throttle down whole different animal very loud . i would say you still have the best of both worlds with the duel mode setup, in my opinion still a great daily driver, i plan on pullin the fuse out tomorrow and keepin it out for a while.
