The transition of your car over the winter is awesome, especially the suspension/brake/wheels. That car is ready for the track, yet it still looks perfect for daily driving. Well done Are those 18" Forgestars?

I had a request from spikeIII to post some pics of my diffuser so here they are Spike! The last pic is the custom braket I made to keep the center of the diffuser stable!

Today I finally got around to installing the replacement brass bushings on my Hurst Billet Plus 2 shifter! The nylon bushings supplied by Hurst just wear out and causes excessive play in the shifter. It took a couple hours but was well worth the time and effort! Here's a link to the thread on the Hurst shifter fix: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226328
edit: Anyone with an aftermarket Hurst shifter this is a must upgrade! I've been driving it now for a couple weeks and the feel of the shifter is superb, like it should be! Last edited by ssmike; 08-19-2012 at 07:41 PM. |

I finally got around to replacing my grill after months or even years of wanting to do it! I installed a new ZL1 grill last night and realized that I should have done this a while ago! I was worried about removing the front clip but I soon realized just how easy a job it is! The price on these ZL1 grills is so cheap it was a no brainer! I often concidered a Heritage grill but I'm glad I held out for this one!
The bowtie is matte black and SS is RJT. Both were purchased from Gary's customs and the grill is from Patrickt. A tip for those who want to remove their front clip, remove the wheels and inner fender to gain access to a couple hard to reach bolts. Other than that it was a piece of cake, took me about 1 1/2 hours to do by myself! |

Looks great. I've been actually using your build to show the wife how cool the car can be in the hopes of convincing her of some of the mods we should do. Seems to be working so far. Keep up the good work!

See I keep track of your build journal. You tell me there isn't much more I can do to mine. And here you go sneak in some more mods. The new grill looks out standing,& with the matt black bowtie really goes good with the RJT

Haha, couldn't help myself! I've been wanting to do this grill since it became available! You just happened to jump in sooner with yours! I'm still waiting to see pics of your quad tips!
