What did you buy yesterday?

Qibbles??? Can you elaborate or no....
I am hesitant to disclose our purchase. It requires a significant amount of background that I am not prepared to share at this juncture.

Quibbles are mostly with the interior. In many regards it is top shelf stuff. I didn't mind the "motorcycle inspired" cluster, but I imagine many people will be put off by it. The other concerns can be addressed by simply getting the turbo 1.4L engine. It gets you the 6 speed manual and a lower cruising RPM on the highway.

So whatever you do, get the 1.4L Turbo. Manual or Auto. Do not get the 1.8L manual as that gets you a 5 speed manual which is over 3,000 RPM on the highway.

I would suggest an LTZ hatch with a manual trans. I believe that the LTZ is a 1.4 by default, but overall, that is the package to get for overall performance and driveabilty.

Didn't arrange them at all. That's how they were presented.

Karma's a bi**ch.

I used to say the same things. And I got lit up when I wasn't paying attention one day after our last day of school my sophomore year.

Now I don't say those things anymore...still take chances from time to time, I just don't brag about it. Haha

Here's to hoping they reduce it for you. What speed in what zone if you don't mind my asking?

No way in hell are they going to reduce it. I knew right when I passed her that I wouldn't be getting any mercy.

80 in a 65. $145 fine.

It's down in Madison County, pretty far out of the way. Not even going to contest it.

Up here, speeding fines are coupled with points on our licenses, which can add up quickly to a revocation. It's pretty common practice to get your first minor violation reduced to a parking ticket & fines...elimination the ding to our license. All right on court-date.

Not sure if I'll get points on my license or not. Can't make the court date though.

I'll just pay the damn fine and behave for a little while.
