Well, I think the problem is there is no set point along the exhaust that is considered the point of connection for an axle back system, each company is different. The Mustang has bolted the axleback near teh axle so there is no confusion and every aftermarket manufacturer has the same disconnect point. So anyone can argue that ARH is too short or we can argue that the Borlas are too short, nobody is right or wrong. The only point in the system we can all agree on is where the cats are. That is why I'd prefer the ARH cat only system (I also want a resonated X-pipe to deal with AFM/drone).

Be careful all L-99 cars going to headers. Had to take them back off my car because of serious noise. Vibration under car & AFM cutting on & off has weird burping noise. just a warning.

noise sounds like an install issue(something hitting/rubbing), afm will make the exhaust sound different only when it kicks in at hwy speeds and most people will opt to just have it turned off in the tune

There are a lot of L99s with LT headers and I haven't heard of this being a problem. I', curious to see if anyone else experiencing this. If it is true it would happen regardless of brand, however I think it may have been something else. Did you have your car tuned?

Doesn't mean they can't make mistakes. Everybody makes them and everybody forgets to tighten the occasional nut or bolt.

The codes are the rear 02 sensors...All longtubes will do it..Very easy fix.

As for the L99...I have installed a couple of sets, and once tuned there are no issues.

I'm interested in the pricing on these. I'm trying to figure out which way is the cheaper and best way to go. Either A) these with Borla Cat Back or B) your complete system with Borla Axle Back.

Not knocking Borla, but the ARH and Cats with the Magna Flow 3" Catback looks like the best thing going IMO. I run the ARH setup with the 2.5 Magna Flow Catback and love it. I did not see the need for a 3" exhaust since I am not forcing (Blower) it in up front. They have great pricing for the consumer.

My ARH system is working great. Of course it made the engine like come on, but with a tune that will be fixed. What a difference in performance. Mine is an L99. Very happy with the decision to install them. Go American Racing.
