Just wondering what you all thought about this one.

Hot or V8 wannabe?

The airscoop on the V8 seems to compliment the stripes well not sure how I feel without it.

I am sure a few will disagree, but to me it is a wana be. That is just my opinion. On the other hand a 300+ HP V-6 is nothing to laugh at as some of the past 6 cyl camaros have been. Bottom line is that it is your choice and the hell with what anyone else thinks.

As dave said, it's your car so do what you want. I am a little confused by your statement though. Are you calling the "mailslot" on the front fascia the "airscoop"?

Yeah mailslot sorry. To me the mailslot compliments the stripes.

I photo shopped what the stripes would look like without the mail slot and it looks pretty darn good to me

Personally I'd look down upon it...but that's just me. Honestly, I'm not even a big fan of stripes on the SS...I like to think stripes are limited to classic cars and top speed cars like the ZR1.

So the car that is quick enough to warrant the stripes doesn't have them

I think stripes are okay for the 6's.
Just don't be like some of the 4.0 Mustang guys who put on super loud exhaust and a big wing.

Do it!! Ever since those pics come up from Barrett-Jackson, I've been sold on the Rally Stripes.

If you want to get real classy (and have the $$), send the car off to a paint shop. For a couple grand, you can get an entirely unique "real" stripe treatment for your V6.

Part of me says it's wrong but fact is it looks good. Furthermore this V6 Camaro should be actually be significantly faster than some actual production V8 Camaro's have been in the past so I say if you want it just go for it.

I guess it boils down to the fact that I tend to think stripes on slow cars are silly, like wings on slow cars; and in the past many V6 Camaro's have been what I would call slow but not this time.
