I'm looking to do hash marks and have noticed a couple different kinds and prices. Here's a couple I found. Which do you prefer, the ones that extend down to the wheel well opening or end at the crease above?

I like the ones that go all the way down to the wheel well opening. The ones that dont, look unfinished

I prefer the ones that stop at the line. That's how they come on the corvette, that's how they go on my car. Bigwormgraphix.com

thats my thread with my hash stripes. My vinyl guy cut the carbon fiber to make them

Is it better to do just 1 side or both?

Thanks. That is our own design. Only on driver side (Le Mans style).

Here is mine, both sides. Mine stop at the line. They are from big worm graphix.
