Instructional Sections
Upon release, Camaro5 should institute an instructional thread section separate from any V8 or V6 section.
Inside the instructional section, there should be sub-forums for each motor (L99, LS3, LLT), a section for body work and other repairs that would apply to any model ("Repair and Maintenance"), and a section for cosmetic work that apply to all models ("Cosmetics"). These sections should be separated because this layout will provide the most access to users who are unfamiliar with the material and will prevent reposting of how-to threads. If these sections are all merged, someone looking for '68 Camaro repair threads won't be able to find them as easily as they would in the Repair and Maintenance section. Forum members seeking to add their instructional threads will find this system beneficial, as well. Instead of having 100 oil change threads because the threads are all in a general How-To section of Camaro5. Moderators won't have to delete, merge, or change threads all of the time because this system is more organized, although some threads will inevitably have to be moved. Instead, mods can focus on other sections of the site that demand more attention. Obviously, you don't have to take this suggestion, but hopefully it helps keep the site running smoothly, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.

More techy'? This is a good idea, IMHO.

I'm glad you guys like it. I was looking at another forum and thinking of all the things they've done wrong. One of the biggies was organization. Another was a lack of moderators. Let's hope neither befalls Camaro5.

Yep. When the time comes...you'll see a section VERY similar to your description, Blur. And it's probably safe to assume that Greg will be one of the main contributors to that section.

That is a great idea!! I was wondering how this site will actually be once the car is out and members actually have them and what not. Lol all of these posts and threads should go into some sort of archive section. People can look back on all of this and be even more grateful GM is making the camaro again haha.
