I'm getting used to it, but it's definitely bigger and heavier than my old car. The thing does seem to be built like a tank, but it would be nice if it were a lot lighter. The V6 would be a rocket, and you SS folk would be hitting ludicrous speed (maybe even plaid)

Define a lot of complaints. If you really researched it, you would find it is a very small percentage of people that this bothers. This car looks great, handles great and rides really, really great!!

Yes large and heavy but I like it. To many people nit pick everything. It is what it is and we all knew it when we bought it.My 98 back then was considered to heavy also, at 3450 lbs. When I look at the two the 98 seems small and more sports car like. How times and perceptions change and at the same time stay the same.

I've learned to not put so much stock in the newsies that write articles.... Yesterdays Hero is todays Zero... catch phrase of the day, whatever cliche you want to throw at it.... they all fit... My car is heavy, and solid, and it feels it... It's also safe... look at the Crash ratings, it rides amazing... and it will still outperform and out turn most of the vehicles on the road....Is it a 100,000 Euro Racer, no... 200,000 Porch < [sic] no... What it is, is a very safe, extremely comfortable car that is fast and gets pretty dang good mileage for weighing 3900 lbs... It is much more survivable than probably "most" any sports/muscle type cars in History... Drive it, enjoy it, and feel safe in it... don't worry so much about the writing heads in the magazines... they are self professed experts... but it's my butt in the seat of my Camaro, not theirs...

Back in black- Are you kidding me? Do a Google search on 2010 Camaro large and heavy and you will find probably 100 articles.
I AM NOT complaining, I love the car just like it is. I just don't understand how the car can feel large. I think it feels nimble and very comfortable. Russ |
