I'll get no sympathy from her. Not for this problem. She sits in the car and listens to it and tells me I'm crazy. It sound just fine to her.

I did this, but not sure if it's suffice. I"m going to get a smoke test done now.

I actually thought about it. hahaha
That dome light thing is normal... it happens when you put the turn signal on too. There was a thread about it a loooooong time ago. I remember going out to my car to see if it happened in mine... it did.

Randy,

How many miles do you have on your car now? I've had a problem with my 2003 Denali (76,xxx mi) as well as my friends 2008 vette (30,xxx mi)..... during idle the rpms would fluctuate, similar to yours. I found out it was build up of gunk in the throttle body. The vette's TB looked like someone sprayed undercoating in it, it was that bad. His car was almost to the point it wanted to shut out.

It will only cost you a can of TB cleaner and a few mins or you time but I would take it off and clean it up real good if you haven't done it before (sorry....I just skimmed through most of this thread) and get a catch can to keep that shit out in the future.

Kurt

the problem with the supercharger is that Maggie does NOT like you to spray or introduce any cleaners into it either through a vacuum line or through the TB...

So he'd have to remove it and clean it by hand so not to remove the coating on the inside of the blower.

Just put a catch can on. I cleaned the TB when I installed the blower.
