IMO, I'll just hold onto my 2011 lol.

I'm with you on that, hopefully I can find an SS 13 model next year with low miles.

My sentiments exactly. I have to think seriously if I want to trade my 2010 for 2013 before these changes hit the show room.

I like it.

I want to see it next to a current 5th Gen to see how big the changes really are. Remember a lot of what was changed was due to functionality. Also, one thing I have learned is to never judge a new design until you see it up close and in your face.

Not for me, I hate the rear end of it. It reminds me of a acura. I will just stay with what I got.

We were told by Scott that this car would be instantly recognizable as a Camaro, it is.... no doubt it's going to be a big seller for GM.... as hard as it has to be for the Camaro team to hear all this harsh criticism.... The brand is still very relevant.

Today should prove very interesting with a lot of loyal camaro enthusiast on the ground in New York.... ready with your cameras!!

Big seller for GM? Not so sure about that. I think the refresh won't be able to make GM go for a 4th or 5th straight year in the Muscle car battle.

I agree, I'm not impressed with the tail lights but I do like the front fascia. I really didn't like the grill on earlier models except for aftermarket grills. I am impartial on the hood, I would like to see something else done with the hood but is better than just a plain old hood..

To freak out about the taillights and say heads should roll?!? They are just that, tail lights.
Sales will not drastically plummet....some really ridiculous responses here. If you don't like it, that is fine but don't bash Scott and everybody else involved. I personally like the new hood and bumper.
What happened the last time Chevy Changed the Camaro for the worse???

Oh right they killed it off...

Of course that was a little different since the 4th gen was ugly all together...

As per the bashing, people are entitled to their opinions. I personally think whoever designed the backend was high as a kite if they though that looked good and should feel ashamed at ruining the generation that marked the return of the Camaro. If Ford reveals the new Mustang today, which is very doubtful, I don't see it going very well for Chevy...

I have to agree with you in this one... People will still buy it based on the fact that it's a Camaro. I personally lost faith in GM designers, well I shouldn't say that... The caddies still look acceptable, after the new Corvette turned out to be a bunch of other cars designs mashed up with a C6. I don't like the way Chevy is heading....

What I posted in another thread that needs to be posted here --

Let's really put this into perspective, everyone. If you had one Camaro from all 38 production years in front of you - I can without a doubt say that there'd be some years that we wouldn't like, some models that don't fit our taste, and some that we just think are ugly... but it's a Camaro, and thus it's part of the heritage. I regularly see on here people who think the 4th generation Camaro is ugly - while I might agree on the 98-2002 portion, I personally think the 93-97 era Camaro was one of the best looking Camaros designed. Likewise, a bunch of folks on here appear to like the 3rd generation Camaro and I think it's the red headed step child of the Camaro design. But it all wraps up to be the heritage of the car we've all grown to love - the Camaro. Not all of us will like every single Camaro from the 38 production years.

So if we don't like the 2014 MCE Camaro - so be it. There will be others that do like it and will want to buy it. And if it means sales to NEW customers who previously hadn't considered a Camaro then it's a win for all of us because it's one new owner to show what owning a Camaro is all about.

[/soapbox]
