Black 2SS/RS CGM Rally... and now CGM Bowties
Since I did not want to be without my Camaro, I ordered new front and rear bowties. $35 for front, $15 for rear (after taxes). It took 5 days for them to come in despite showing on backorder, picked them up from the Parts Dept, took them over to the BodyShop and had them paint them CGM. $75 for the paint/labor. Once they were painted, dry, and ready to install, they gave me a call and then it was a simple switch. The front is held in by 4 clip-type prongs, the rear is 3M automotive tape.
So, $125, but worth it to me, since I didn't like that the bowties were the only gold on the car it stuck out like a sore thumb, especially against the black. On a side note, while I was there at the dealership, I got to hear the Finance guy's Camaro... He just had a Corsa exhaust installed yesterday. Sounded very nice! Too many choices, and not enough sound clips yet...

I didn't want to be w/out my car while they were painting the bowties. And to drive around w/ no bowtie while it was being done is just not acceptable. Simple as that!

Looks good now they don't stick out so much but are not totally lost on the car either.

CGM is a magnificently odd color to begin with, but when you have CGM w/ Gray stripes and CGM badges, you have epicness!
