GM zone manager for NC?

I'm telling you all they ordered cars as customers to sell on their floor, then proceeded to sell them 10k over sticker for them. all the while making the real customers wait for their allocations.

Have to agree with the above...the sales people know nothing about the cars, they just want to sell over invoice. I ran into a salesman that used to work there...apparently, selling at min $3k over invoice for ordered vehicles is a standard.

If you can cancel the order, head down to Wilkinson Auto, of US-1 in Sanford; they don't have big allocations, but they bend over backwards to help out however they can.

You have to be kidding...right..WT Chevy ...didn't they advertise a SS for $55K in their local paper....wtf..I ordered mine from a Hendrick Dealership for below MSRP.

I believe the delay was a result of incompetence and nothing to do with GM. I heard all kinds of excuses, including the fact that Mr. Galliera was unable to track the status of the order at any time. The order sat at 1100 from May until November.

It's not the dealership's fault the car is still on the train. FWIW, it should be heading into SC anytime and unload from there and be trucked to the dealership. I will say I've never dealt with that particular Hendrick dealership, but have with two others owned by Hendrick and they've been nothing but helpful and forthcoming about everything. The salesperson I dealt with actually called me about once a week after I had ordered to give me update status , along with info so I could track it on here and via telephone while it was on the train.

charlotte seems on the up and up. at least to me. been there several times and my wife use to live about 5 mins from the place. so knows a few people that has done business with them.

I had a pretty good experience with City Chevy in Charlotte. Ordered on day 2 the 15th and received my car on 6/12.

Would have been faster but some guy named Tony Stewart got 2 ahead of me.

Now I received an e-mail from Steve Moore a month ago stating they were happy to order me one now and the 5K market adjustment has been removed.

The guys at City chevy in Charlotte have been good to me. However, I spoke with dealers from Salisbury NC to Charleston SC and found they ran the spectrum from making you feel at home and showing you around to making me feel like I needed to take a shower and get the salesman slime off me.

Hendricks Chevrolet-Cary and Bobby Murray Chevrolet-Raleigh both have major issues with their Sales staff. We went to BUY a Camaro on December 28th. They had shown 20+ Camaro's on their lot with prices advertised as MSRP. We had a silver V6 , Auto, Sun/Moon roof and 19" wheels picked out and ready to Sign & Drive right there - BUT the Sales JerkOff throws the $4,995 market adjustment into the "deal". Turned the vehicle OFF - handed the A==H=LE the keys and walked away.

Called around other dealerships and deceided to place an order with Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, NC. (Silver 1LT,Black Interior, Manual, and 19" Bright Wheels). My wife asked me why I ordered it from a dealership over 2 hours away ? I told her I refuse to deal with complete idiots when I am buying a car !!! Gas up the Caddy we are going to get our Camaro, sometime in mid- Feburary.

You might wanna make sure ur not getting the "deal" from Jeff Gordon too.... they are a Hendrick Dealership as well.

I bought mine from Bell and Howard Chevrolet in Statesville, NC. They are super to deal with and the service department there is exceptional as well. They currently have a white camaro ss v8 and a silver rs V6 on the lot if anyone is interested. Just ask for Rhyne Scott. Hes the best!!!

hahaha i actually saw tony's 2 cars plus his pit crew chief had his in the showroom too when i ordered my camaro but the hendrick's city chevrolet in charlotte were competely awesome! the ones down in columbia, sc.. not so much.

I think that Cary dealership is ALL about numbers...NOT people...(customers OR employees) that's been my experience anyway.....and boy could I tell some stories!!!!
