Hopefully this is not off topic and Falls somewhere in the middle.

Has anyone thought about going direct to Magnusun.

That is what I did.

My dealer purchased everything through Magnusun except intake ( Hennessy)

The thing runs like the wind good factory support.

I didn't have to take my car out of town and I sure can't imagine needing anymore..at least yet. They also back up factory powertrain warranty ( The others may as well, don't know) but I know where to go if there is a problem...My Dealer Just down the road!

Just a thought hopefully not out of line.

My Dealer Did AR long tubes and Corsa exhaust..install time less than 5 hours ...closer to 4

Also had the blower on in one day. had to wait for ECM a couple days while magnusun Flashed it. They also keep your old tune in case you want to go back.

I had headers and exaust on first while I was waiting for the chrome blowers to be shipped than went bak for the Blower when it arrived.

Another rather funny thing happened...While I was waiting for my blower my sales manager sent me a coupon for 10% of my first accesary purchase.

Should have seen the service managers face when I pulled it out ....

He said that would take him below his cost. I said You sent me the coupon ( Marketing dept via e mail)

They honored it but I will bet there are a few disclaimers on the next one they send out.

Good Luck with your decision. From what I hear everyone has been thrilled with both. Hard not to be.

I'm not sure it was on topic per se but possibly related. I have wondered the same thing.

But let's keep things closer to topic

I am going with LPE, car shipping in two weeks. I have always heard about their cars and the resale value is way up there (not that I will sell), speaks volumes about their quality.
Since this is a toy, I paid cash. I just cant bring myself to borrow much of anything. I feel the same way as to our current economic problems. Too many people borrowing more than they can afford, including our government.

I have my Camaro ordered. Already put a sizable deposit on my LPE setup.
Sold my 2005 Corvette (was paid off) to cover most of the cost of the Camaro (besides - I needed the garage space for the Camaro). I will pay off the car and LPE by the time I take possession.

Has anyone received either a Hennesey or LPE tuned car? Please share your experience!

Having shipped alot of Camaros to customers/dealerships throughout the USA and abroad, I will contact them to see if they are Camaro5.com members or can atleast send us a review of their experience with our company.

Thanks and speak to you soon,
James

Carguy,

did they apply the Maggie tune? Man I have a ton of questions for you...

I can't think of a dealer here that would even attempt this install....

I wonder if I should just order from your dealer and have them do the install....

Can you give us the details? or is there a thread out there already describing what they did to the car???
